Wet n Wild megalast lipstick in Rosebud: review and swatch

Pin It now!

Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick in Rosebud

Let me tell you, I had the longest day. Seriously. I thought I was going to give myself a break. But since I applied the lipstick for the day, I thought it would be a good opportunity to tell you what I thought about it. Ok...on with the show! *lol*

I bought the lipstick last night. I actually thought it looked like a pretty pink lipstick. Wet n Wild is one of those brands (it used to be...not that much anymore) that there would be a "hit" or "miss" product. In other words, they either had some great items and some that were not worth the money. But at $2.14 with tax, I wanted to give this shade a chance. The color took me by surprise! It is a really pretty matte pink shade. Like a carnation color! So, if you are looking for an opaque Pink color, this shade is right on the money!

Wet n Wild Megalast lipstick in Rosebud
My bare lips, no product on.

Me with rosebud lipstick. No gloss or lipliner used at all.

According to Wet n Wild official website (wnwbeauty.com) this is what they describe the Megalast lipsticks in general. " Lips take center stage! This 4-hour, longwearing lip color leaves a semi-matte, crème finish in one stroke. Glides on easily with rich, velvety color that doesn't cake, feather, or bleed. Made with hydrating skin-care ingredients: Hyaluronic Microspheres provide extraordinary adhesion to lips, an exclusive polymer complex offers cushion-like feel and texture, and natural marine plant extracts Coenzyme Q10 and Vitamins A & E help smooth lips".
Okay here are my thoughts. They are 100% correct in saying that it is semi- matte, because its true and only so slightly it leans creme. So if you LOVE matte shades or lipsticks in general, you will enjoy this formula. My lips did not dry out, so there was no discomfort experience when wearing this particular lipstick. In fact the photo you see of me with my lipstick on is in fact taken after 3 hours of wear time!!! No touch ups at all!!  And also let me just say this is a very pigmented lipstick, so pigmented I had to use my fingers just to glide the lipstick on the side of my lips. SERIOUSLY! For a 2 dollar lipstick the pigmentation is phenomenal. I did not experience any feathering.
Me with Rosebud in different angles

So the bottom line is: this lipstick ROCKED!!! I love it, completely love it and I encourage you to try it out.

**Positives**
Complete opaque lipstick
Comfortable Matte formula
Lipstick color flattering
Affordable ++++!!!

**Negatives**
Availability

Wet n Wild is just one of those brands that are available in the USA. A pity since I am sure many people regardless of their country of origin would love to give this brand a chance. HOWEVER, there are good news! There are places online which you can purchase it! Here they are!

http://www.nonpareilboutique.com/

http://stores.ebay.com/MsssKels-Place

Now I want to advice you, I never shopped at these places. Out of courtesy, I am showing you places where they sell it. Its up to you how you may want to acquire this brand "Wet n Wild".

So would I recommend this lipstick? 110% HELL YES!!!!

Nyx lipgloss in Sponge Cake-swatch and review

Pin It now!

Nyx lipgloss in Sponge Cake

If you were to read a few posts below, you will notice this is the shade I purchased during my modest Ulta Haul. A Haul in which I rightfully used their 3.50 off a 10$ "purchase"  PROMO to my advantage. I will admit, I was not planning to purchase a gloss. The real reason I purchased this shade is because I thought it was a shade that would compliment my lip color and complexion. I will say this was the most expensive item of the haul. At the price of 5.49 then minus (-1.28) b/c of the promo. So at 4.21, for a moment I thought, is it really worth it?? We shall soon see about that!
NYX lipgloss Sponge Cake swatches

Now just by looking at the swatches, the color is actually really pretty. It sits between a red/pink with a pinch of brown. It has little glitters, which I don't mind at all.
NYX lipgloss Sponge Cake on lips
Close up of Nyx lipgloss in Sponge Cake on my lips
This a shade I can honestly say you can get away using it alone if you are not in the mood of wearing a lipstick. If you are into the whole "barely there" look, this is the perfect lipgloss to purchase since it just enhances your lip color. it is not a "bright" lipgloss or as pinkish looking as the Ulta gloss I happened to review (look below). This is more muted, a perfect everyday color if you ask me. It does have glitters and I like it since it gives the illusion that your lips are plump (not that I need the help int hat department). It still has the same "Nyx lipgloss" flavor regardless of lipgloss color. Wear time is pretty short. If you drink soda or anything for that matter you will need to reapply afterward, every time. But is it worth the $5.49? At the end that question can only be answered by you. If any cosmetic you purchase meets your expectations whether it is a $5.00 item or $50.00, then that purchase it worth it. It met mine. But I will hold off buying them unless they are on sale. That's me though. But I highly recommend it IF and only IF you are looking for a color that naturally enhances your lip color and don't mind the glitter.

Ulta lipgloss Starlet-swatch and review

Pin It now!

Ulta gloss in Starlet

Before I go on with this review, let me just say I was supposed to review the new Essence "I love Stage" eye base. However, the next day the eye which I tested out the base broke out! Now, I like to give things the benefit of doubt. So I am going to allow my eye to heal. Once it's healed, then I can re-do the "test" of Essence Eyebase vs Urban Decay Primer Potion. Anyways....moving on.

I have owned this lipgloss for sometime now. I was looking for a nice pink lipgloss. Not a florescent pink mind you, but a pink that can be worn for any occasion.
This shade attracted me from the bunch because I thought it complimented with my natural lipcolor. That's just an observation I made inside at Ulta. When I got home and tried it on, I was very glad I purchased this color (during the buy one get one free promo).

My bare lips

My lips with Ulta lipgloss Starlet

As you can see, it is such a pretty pink color with little glimmers. I understand some people may be put off having glitter in their lipglosses, but I actually welcome it! My lips are naturally plump as is, but I feel the glitters appeals to the inner coquette in all of us! So innocent and yet intriguing. What's not to love about this color!?! The gloss itself is very comfortable to wear. Did not dry out my lips at all. It has a little flavor to it, but it does not bother me. The wear time for this lipgloss is like any ordinary lipgloss you apply: it boils down if you are drinking and eating throughout the day, then you must re-apply.

Ulta Starlet lipgloss swatch on direct light

I highly recommend this shade to anyone who is looking for a gloss that brings out the pink shade of your natural lips. Perhaps you are looking for a lipgloss that is both sexy and innocent "looking" at the same time. I recommend purchasing any Ulta brand when Ulta has a "buy one get one free" deal. That's just my opinion.
If you really dislike lipgloss that has some glitter, then perhaps you may need to pass this one up. Although, I would think you would be absolutely crazy not to get it. Again, my opinion.

Jordana Blush in Touch of Pink-review and swatch

Pin It now!

Jordana Blush Touch of Pink

This particular blush was purchased a little over a moth ago at Kmart. I was looking for a matte pink blush, and since these are priced at 2.99 (?) I thought it was worth giving them a shot. I was pleasantly surprised!

Jordana Blush Touch of Pink swatch

One things I loved about this shade is that it is matte, richly pigmented and not dusty at all. You would think this shade is a true pink, but in fact it is right between pink and peach! Those that have fair complexion or olive complexion would find this shade quite flattering! Easy on the eyes and even when you wear this shade, at the end of the day your cheeks look naturally flushed. SO pretty!
Jordana Blush Touch of Pink on my skin

I can honestly say there is nothing negative to say about this product except for availability. I had to drive a good 15-20 minutes for my nearest Kmart. Walgreens sadly does not carry Jordana blushes. A shame considering there are more Walgreens than Kmarts, for one. Secondly, if Walgreens would expand  Jordana cosmetics in their stores, it would be a great benefit both for the consumer and the store. Oh well...

I highly recommend this shade. Office friendly, easy on the pocket and officially Holy Grail Quality!

NYX eyeshadow #10 Underneathe It All- swatch and review

NYX matte eyeshadow #10 Underneathe It All
Just as promised I am going to be reviewing Nyx Matte Eyeshadow in Underneathe It all (spelling exactly how it is labeled). I have been looking for a soft brown shade for quite some time. I would have thought this post would be an easy one. I was completely wrong. FYI Shadow retails for 4.99 @ Ulta, where I purchased it.
NYX Underneathe It All swatched
I thought I bought a nice brown shade. After making some swatches, I frankly cannot categorize this shade! It is a mix between brown, gray, taupe.... Now you see my frustration?! The color was quite silky smooth, pigmented, not dusty at all. I want to say it is 100% matte, but I would be lying. It is more like 90% matte, 10% satin. It blends well and perfect for a daytime Smokey eye. Not an "in your face" color, if you catch my drift. As I mentioned, this is one of the best colors from the new Matte Shade range Nyx is providing. I really like it and would recommend to anyone looking for an office friendly taupe (y)/ brown/grayish color.

Swatch Nyx Glam Shadow Stick, and small Ulta haul

Pin It now!

Nyx Glam Shadow Stick Display

I have been having a bad weekend. My hubby was kind enough to let me walk around Ulta and purchase a few items. As always, I am a huge fan of NYX cosmetics. I noticed (thanks to gossmakeup artist, from youtube) that NYX came out with 3? brand new products. Aqua Luxe gloss, lipstick and a shadow stick (not to be confused with Jumbo eye pencils). Sadly, they displayed the new lipstick in a corner not even close to the NYX display. I only saw about 3 lipsticks, and about 3? glosses. I highly recommend you check out wayne from gossmakeup since in his video he actually tries out a lipstick and a gloss (video provided below). I did check out the lipstick (sorry I did not post any of the glosses, and lippies) but I will say its a hybrid of a lipstick and gloss in one. It was super creamy yet metallic. The gloss looked like the Milani 3d glosses but with alot of glitter and mica. The kind of lipstick/gloss you want to wear at a photo shoot. As for the shadow stick which are priced at 4.49

***EDIT 01-02-13// NEW GLAM STICK SWATCHES!!, CLICK BRAND:NYX ON RIGHT!!***

The Nyx Glam Shadow Stick have a lot of glitter and not as "heavy feel" as the Jumbo eye pencil. Its the perfect shadow stick for highlighting your brow or inner duct area. My favorite of the bunch is 24 karat, pink ruby and diamond. When I cleaned my back hand, 24  Karat had a bunch of little gold glitters. very very small. While pink ruby and diamond gave off a silverish white glitter. Perfect for the inner duct area. Personally, I was not too impressed with the other colors. Wicked Onyx and Glistening Emerald would be perfect for a smoky eye or used to give a shadow some pizazz (Ulta's eyeshadow Glamazon would be a perfect compliment for G. Emerald) I checked out the new matte eyeshadow as well and they were such a disappointment, not even swatch worthy. Almost all of them were too powdery and chalky. You are better off getting the matte shades from those palettes you can purchase at either bhcosmetics or coastal scents (my opinion). I only purchased 1 shadow because that shadow seemed as good as a mac shade. The name of the shadow (which I will swatch once the weather improves) is #10 Underneath It All. Below is a basic picture of the haul.

NYX glam sticks swatches

I am thrilled to try all items that I purchased and cannot wait to see if this base will replace my Urban Decay Primer Potion.  After the 3.50 off the 10$ purchase, I ended up paying 12.41 including tax for all items pictured above.

Well I better get to testing! Hope you guys are having a good day!

Avon Ultra rich Lipstick in Sheer Raspberry Ice-review *pic heavy*

Pin It now!

Avon lipstick Sheer Rasberry Ice

I must admit, I have owned this lipstick for over a year now. That's the reason why the lipstick seemed used not brand new. But given the fact I have owned this lipstick for a long time, it gives me the advantage to tell you about this lipstick and why I love it so much.

There was a sale with Avon (see, I told ya I like them sales!). This lipstick, according to the Avon website retails at 7.00 dollars. I was able to purchase this lipstick at 50% percent off. So, I ended up paying 3.50 plus tax. I picked the color from the booklet, they did not have a tester at all. So in reality, I purchased this lipstick with blind hope.  Boy, I lucked out!!!

Bare lips without any lipstick

Lips applied with Sheer Raspberry Ice lipstick from Avon
What I like is that this formula is creamy with a little hint of satin. This lipstick did not dry my lips at all. The color is universal and the wear time for me was 3-4 hours. You can have a porcelain complexion or olive skintone and this lipstick will really bring out the best of your lips, seriously. In my opinion this is one of the most underrated lipstick shade from the Avon collection. I will confess that before I planned to review this lipstick, I went to Avon's website just to see if they still have the shade available and they do! If you need a lipstick that can be perfect for work or play, this shade knocks it out of the park. What saddens me is that this lipstick is not talked about because it truly deserves our attention. Even if you are not a fan of Avon's perfumes or makeup, you need to give this shade a try. Seriously.
Me wearing Avon lipstick Sheer Raspberry Ice

Swatch for Avon Sheer Raspberry Ice
Again beautiful color. Avon gives plenty of chances to nab their shades at a reasonable cost due to their sales (right now it is priced at 4.99, same cost of a lipstick purchased at Walmart, Target or in my case in Texas Grocery Store HEB).
Beautiful Lipstick and Holy Grail quality!
Let me know your thoughts!

**sorry for the typo** Its raspberry not rasberry, d'uh! Michelle**

Hard Candy Just face It foundation-review *picture heavy*

Pin It now!

Hard Candy Just face It foundation in 361 Fair

First of all, let me say I AM GLAD that my walmart stocked up on Hard Candy! For the past year I would visit my walmart and even asked the associates if the brand was returning at all and every single f'n time they had NO CLUE. By sheer luck, a week or so ago I was in the mood to look at stuff at Walmart and behold there was "Hard Candy" goodies beautifully displayed. Why does it take almost a YEAR to get re-stocked for Hard Candy?? That's one mystery the gang and scooby doo can't solve. Moving on...

I have been running out of foundation and I wanted to give this one a try. I saw the color #361 fair and out of all the ones, this one matches my complexion the closest. It costs 7.00 Dollars. If you use Revlon Color Stay (both regular or whipped) in the color "buff", then this is a pretty decent close match to the color. This shade; however, has a bit of a peachy tone. My skin leans towards a peachy-yellow tone and this color when worn is a perfect match in that sense.
Hard Candy foundation

Hard Candy foundation BackSide

Now I must admit, when I bought the foundation I really did not read about the benefits of this foundation or its promises. Quite honestly I just liked the color and thought it was nice it came in a pump. But it was not after my 2nd use in which I actually payed attention to the bottle and again "its" promises. Here I am gonna quote from the Hard Candy Website: "Get perfect skin in one step! This all in one makeup maven is everything you need in 1 bottle. It functions as a primer, concealer, a foundation and dries to a powdery finish. Long wearing formula delivers a beautifully smooth, flawless look with its blendable, buildable coverage. It minimizes pores, regulates oil, and reduces the appearance of fine lines".

I admit first time I used it was with the usual moisturizer, primer et cetera et cetera. The result? It looked too cakey. But once I read the back of the bottle, I skipped my regular routine, and just applied the foundation to a clean face. The way the foundation feels reminded me VERY VERY much to the regular colorstay I grew up using. And just like colorstay, you need to work this foundation with a speedy hand. Why? This formula is a little drier and it will set fast. I used my fingers like the good old days.
**wanted to add that the pump works well, however because this is a drier formula when you pump it once, it pumps alot of product (my opinion though). I found myself pumping it half way just to get enough to cover half of the face.**

WHAT I LOVED

1. The foundation is medium to full coverage. It won't cover your postmarks, but it will  tone down the redness of your skin.
2. Loved the matte finish/powdery look to my face (a claim they promise and actually succeeds)
3. Even with my mega oily skin, this foundation actually help to tame the oiliness. Upon reading the ingredients, it actually contains KAOLIN CLAY, SILICA and Cucumber Extract. Kaolin is a perfect oil absorber, Silica a great buffer to fine lines and Cucumber helps to retain a little moisture. If Hard Candy would prominently display these 3 ingredients on their website and their benefits, it would help other people give this foundation a chance given that these 3 ingredients alone help achieve a matte look. Again, that's an advice I would give them.
4. After wearing the foundation for up to 5 hours, I lightly touched up my face with tissue paper (seriously just tissue paper, not the blot papers you can buy) my face looked identical to the way it was when I freshly applied the foundation for that day.

WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR

1. If applied the wrong way, it can look cakey. This is not a foundation issue, but the person who executes the application of the foundation.
2. Color Selection minimal.
3. NO TESTERS!!!
Hard Candy Just Face It swatch outside light

My face bare, no foundation

Hard Candy Just Face It foundation in Fair applied

So, would I recommend this foundation? I will depending on your skin type. If you have combo oily, oily or a normal skin, give this foundation a chance. If you have a drier skin, I do not think this foundation would work. But hey, I could be wrong. Sensitive Skin?? Like in my case, I cannot wear anything with talcum powder and this foundation DOES NOT contain it! A huge plus and something "Hard Candy" should inform and would be a benefit to the company and to other people who are allergic to Talcum Powder. Hard Candy  THIS IS A HINT FOR YOU!!!!!!!! I really payed no attention to their setting powders or powders in general they offer, BUT if they are "thinking of making" a complimentary setting powder, a "talcum free- setting powder" with ingredients like rice powder, cornstarch and/or kaolin would sure be a HIT for the company and the Hard Candy consumer. Again Hard Candy, HINT HINT!!!

All in all, this is a fabulous product. I am hoping they could expand the color range for the foundation not to leave our Scandinavian, Asian, European, Caribbean and African sisters behind. Have testers available, although walmart has been pretty good in refunding me my money as long as I kept the receipt.
In the future I will post a picture of my face partially so you can see how it looks. Will also do a comparison review with this foundation and the Neutragena Shine Control one.

Hard Candy gets an A+ from me.

Natural Beauty: Rice powder/ Corn Starch/ Tapioca Starch as setting powder

Pin It now!

Rice powder and Corn Starch powder as setting powder

Before I go on and explain this blog topic, allow to me to explain briefly why I used pill bottles for storage. Number 1) Because I did not have cosmetic jars. Number 2) I am cheap and did not want to spent gas money and regular money just to pay for a $2 jar. With gas and all, I thought it would be too much of a waste. I rather use that money to purchase nail polish, that's just me. Moreover, I take medication that lasts every month, I get refills and end up  having a bunch of these bottles left over. So, yes I am being frugal and "green" at the same time. Ok...moving on.

There is no denying all of us having different skin types. I have oily skin. In fact, some weeks ago I went to Elizabeth Arden beauty counter since they were having these face analyzing tools which measures your skin elasticity, sun damage and so forth. My face results came back mixed. I have good elasticity (thanks to my nightly ritual using Grape Seed oil, which I will post another time about), but I do have a bit of sun damage (thanks to my golfing day during high school) and have very oily skin. On top of having oily skin, and I allergic to talcum powder. You know the powder you use after the shower, the fancy one you use for your face. YES that one. I did not realize I was allergic to talcum until 6 years ago. Before the internet and everything virtual, there were 2 ways you gained information about beauty products and advice, well 3. First one, from either your mother, grandmother or friends. Secondly, you get it from magazines (even during the 1990s even that was an expense my mother could not afford). Third, well finally from the television. Back in the 1990s there was a show hosted by Cindy Crawford on MTV called " House of Style" (just read on rolling stone MTV it bringing back the show, AT LAST MTV has some braincells after all). At that time, she would talk about fashion, trends and even cool tips. Heck even when I was 14 back in 92' I even experimented using koolaid to stain the hair! An idea that was advertised in one of their episodes. But when it came to cosmetics, my goodness it was all a mystery to me, sadly the show did not raise any issue of cosmetics and allergic reactions. In fact, I thought it was completely normal that your nose or face would itch after setting it with powder. It was not until 6 years ago I came across a beauty forum when other women were discussing that issue. They pinpointed that talcum powder as the perpetrator of their cause for itch and allergic reaction. Alas, I now knew why all those years my nose was red and my face itched like hell. So, now when I buy cosmetics it needs to be talcum free, period. A year ago my beloved Loreal Hydra Perfecte loose powder was discontinued ( just barely past month they started releasing it again, kudos for Loreal). So, my search for a setting powder came to a halt until I was browsing Palladio cosmetics at Sallys. They had a setting powder that had rice powder (BIG plus) but they use as a filler Talcum powder (big minus). After doing some research of old cosmetic techniques used for cosmetic (using plain rice powder, tapioca starch or cornstarch for set the makeup) I exclaimed "Eureka"!!! Got a 1 pound bag of rice powder for just One dollar at an import store and I already had Corn Starch in my kitchen. Depending where you purchase it, but cornstarch can set you back no more than 3 dollars. It offers no "white cast" to my foundation. It soaks up all the oil of my face. Gives me a lovely matte finish and MY FACE DOES NOT ITCH!!!!!! It is the perfect translucent powder on the market with no harsh additives! I even mix my rice powder with some clay for a lovely mask. So whether you are light complected, dark complected, have combo oily skin or even sensitive skin give both corn starch or rice powder a try. Even if you are not into the whole "natural beauty" lifestyle, give these powders a chance. It made a real difference on me and the results are worth it. Let me know if you have tried this or if it worked on you or not. I would love to hear you! Til' Next time!

**update**

I was using corn starch for a while and sadly it makes my skin itch just as bad as talc :( . So it is with great regret that I cannot recommend the use of cornstarch. I have read many great articles on how some individuals are allergic to corn in every which way. I can eat it, but it cannot be in my cosmetics. On the upside is that when I bought my rice powder I failed to mention I did buy Tapioca Starch aka "arrow root powder". Both tapioca and rice powder do not make me itch, seriously. Still wonderful skin mattifiers. Both of them were purchased at the Asian good store for about a $1 each. I highly recommend to check out places that sell lots of Asian goods. I find that those places have great food/items at a very reasonable cost. Plus I am all for supporting mom and pop stores. In case you are wondering, I stored my tapioca powder in one of my medicine bottles *ha ha  ha*. But anyways, thanks for reading.

Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean Face Wash For Oily/Combo skin-review

Pin It now!

Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean Face Wash for Combo/Oily Skin

Desert Essence is a brand I have only seen in two places (physically): Sprouts Farmers Market and Vitamin Shoppe. There are 2 honest reasons why I bought this face wash: Because it was on sale [told you I love sales (from what I can remember It was originally at 8.99, in sale for 6.99 @ Vitamin Shoppe)]. Secondly, because I wanted to try out the brand. I have never ever purchased anything from Desert Essence. Thanks to the internet I read loads of reviews about this product with mixed emotions. Because my face is as oily  as the worst oil spill you can google about, I said to myself "What the hell, if it doesn't work, I can always return it".
Before I get to the juicy review let me tell you about this product. It has 8.5 fluid ounces. Comes with a pump. Has ALL and I mean ALL natural ingredients. No parabens, no mineral oil, no Sls, and the list goes on and on. According to the official dessert essence website it claims
" NEW! The extract of Hawaii’s fragrant awapuhi plant brings additional softening properties to this gentle, but effective cleanser already rich in soothing extract of goldenseal and essential oil of chamomile. Eco-Harvest® Tea Tree Oil leaves a clean that feels oil-free, and with regular use, helps improve your skin’s texture and radiance".

Better Nutrition Best of Beauty Awards, 2009

My THOUGHTS

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. It claims exactly what it promises. I love how my face feels super clean. It really takes the dirt of my face. Beware! If you have open sores or acne that is healing, YOU will feel the burn/sting sensation. NOW, I don't mind it. TO ME its disinfecting the wound and will help to heal it faster. To some, this may be a complete turn off. Some reviews I read around said "it dries your face". You know what, that is true. But you see I WANT my face dry. I want the oily layer of my face GONE. It does a fabulous job doing that. So if you have a "normal, normal to dry, or "sensitive" face. Then this product is not for you. Desert Essence makes other face washes for those particular skin types. I personally like to rotate my face wash. I have a generic "neutragena" one, this one I am reviewing, Cetaphil and a few bar type face washes. My only issue I have with this product is the pump. For some reason the soap dries to this film, and even after I clean the pump it still would not pump properly. So I had to buy a travel size bottle with a pump to pour the product in. But that's my only issue.

My advice? Check websites that carry this product and see if there is a sale that way You can save a few dollars. One more thing, they have a mega 32 oz bottle as well for 14 dollars. Once I run this one out, I am going to purchase the big bottle.

Again, this was a surprise find. I really don't purchase with an agenda (because it has the finest ingredients). But my goodness, this was one hell of a positive surprise!
It has Holy Grail quality and Natural Beauty ingredients wrapped into ONE! Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!

Added Translator to the page!!

Pin It now!

I should have done this long time ago! So sorry! So whether English is your 2nd 3rd or 4th language, but you just have a little problem not truly understanding what I have written: the translator at the right side should do the trick! I tested it out and its pretty nifty. So, NO MORE "Lost in Translation". By the way, I love the movie!  Scarlett and Bill acted beautifully! Again My fault!

Just to let you know: I Still have a few more Nabi polishes to review, these one have glitter or have metallic sheen. I also have some new ones by Wet n Wild brand, Jordana, and Pure Ice (tempted to do a funky nail tutorial). Purchased 3 foundations as well as a powder. I will review the foundation when I put them to a test drive.

Take Care and Enjoy Labor Day which is tomorrow!

Nabi Nail Polish #19 Mocha- a review

Pin It now!

Sorry for the delay in this post. Have so many things going on. Anyways on to the review.

Nabi Nail polish #19 Mocha indoor

You should know by now I am a huge fan of Nabi Nail Polish. Polish #19 Mocha does not disappoint. Mocha can be described as a true brown, maybe just maybe with a soft hint of red. Just like with my other shade #17 Sand, with this polish You need about 2 coats to reach full opacity. It dries to a nice glossy finish. Again my only complaint is that this brand is not available to the masses. I was able to nab this polish because there is a mom n pop shop that carries everything Nabi, seriously. I hope down the line stores like Walgreens or even Ulta can make this brand available.
Sorry about the crappy pictures, the weather in Texas has been great. Love the rain, however,  the sun is hiding and I cannot take a true picture in the daylight. When the weather improves, I'll snap a shot. *update* New image included below!
